G-Plan

G-Plan is a project about space. House prices in London triple and quadruple further out of our league as friends say, 'thank God we bought in '94'. This is the kind of market where there are only two types: the smug and the bitter. Hill and Paris definately belong to the latter: they are bitter and they have no equity. In G-Plan the spatial, economic and political challenges of artists claiming space for living and working are explored in tandem with the technical and philosophical challenges of making performance for the internet where it is always kinda flat and slow and cramped and things so often feel like a compromise but where you can make as many rooms and download as many designer accessories as you like.
