Somewhere between the oyster shop, 3 Crabbe St., Whistable and Littlehampton Pier a seaside epic unfolds in 8 episodes. The Seaside Towns project is an online serial about a fictional seaside town created from real people and places encountered on a journey along the length of the southeast coastline. Messages in bottles are tossed into the sea each month, sent to unknown destinations.. replies are sent from islands off the coast of Holland and 'wish you were here' postcards are sent to virtual destinations.
