I have cast my own building blocks using pigmented (pink) concreate which I use on various construction sites to build my own "house" or structures. Building with my own tools, on my own terms in such a masculine atmosphere allows me to ask powerful questions. Who builds our Houses? Who builds our HOMES? What psychological and physical roles are acted out inside our homes? What role do I play? These building proformances are done on the weekends when there are no construction workers and left for them to come across Monday Morning.
